We will help wherever needed to confront US, Israel

TEHRAN(Basirat): Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei stressed that Iran would provide help to confront the US and Israeli regime wherever there is a need for Iran’s presence.

Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks in a meeting with participants at the "International Conference on Followers of Ahl al-Bayt vs. the Takfiris Issue" on Thursday in Tehran.

"Today body of Muslim world is severely wounded,” Ayatollah Khamenei said. "Enemies of Islam have managed to baffle Muslim world by staging war and creating discord, providing the enemy with more security in the region. In Western Asia, the Zionist regime thrives in a safe haven, while Muslims are pitted against one another.”

He went on to add, "just as the existence of the Prophet of Islam is a means of unity among Muslims, the love for the lineage of Prophet can also be a unifying factor: today the Muslim world is in dire need of this love and sympathy.”

"With deep regret, we should admit that there are people within the Muslim nation and states acting upon what the US and Zionists desire,” Iran’s Leader said. "Under such conditions, unity among the Islamic world is the number one obligation.”

He went on express hope that Palestine would be given back to the Palestinian people one day, adding "that day will be an occasion for celebration for the Islamic World; it will be a real blow to the arrogant front; and, that day will come.”

"Today, the issue of Palestine is the primary issue among the Muslim world, since it has been an Islamic country usurped and turned into a means of sabotaging the security of several countries in the region. This cancerous tumor [Zionist regime] should be fought against,” he stressed.

Ayatollah Khamenei went on to add, "a religious Mufti issues a verdict that it's illicit to fight against Zionism! This is a disaster. There are people within the Muslim world who act in such a way against the interests of Islam and against words of Quran: "They're hard amongst  themselves and merciful to the faithless."

"The Islamic Republic today is not comparable to what it was 35 years ago,” the Leader said, while noting the country’s progress despite US’s threats, sanctions and military aggression

"Wherever there is a need for our presence, we will provide help and are not afraid to say so. We will have no inhibitions when confronting Arrogant powers,” he stressed.
