Iran raw steel exports stand at 3.3 million tons
TEHRAN(Basirat): Iran’s raw steel exports stood at 3.353 million tons during the first eight months of the current fiscal year (March 21-Nov. 21), according to the Iranian Steel Producers Association's latest report.
During the mentioned period, exports of finished steel products reached 1.920 million tons, registering a 104% increase compared to the same period last year.
Billet and bloom had the lion’s share of semis exports with an aggregate of 2 million tons. Slab followed with 1.35 million tons.
Additionally, exports of sponge irons reached 400 thousand tons during the eight-month period.
