Syrian Army Continues Targeting Terrorists’ Positions, Kills Scores of Them

The Syrian army continued targeting terrorists’ positions and hotbeds in different areas across the country, eliminating scores of them and destroying their weaponry.

Homs

An army unit killed a number of al-Nusra terrorists after targeting their fortified positions in the village of Housh al-Zawahera in the northern countryside of Homs Province.

A military source told SANA Tuesday that the army operations against al-Nusra terrorists in the village of Izz Eddin, northeast of Homs city resulted in killing a number of them and destroying their positions and 3 machineguns.

Terrorists Mustafa al-Kaiyal, Bilal Najem, Hussam al-Shami and terrorist nicknamed Abu Azzam al-Sori were identified among the dead.

An army unit, aided by the popular defense groups, killed and injured 15 terrorists after targeting al-Nusra terrorist’s positions in Hawsh al-Diwani, al-Sa’en al-Aswad, Hawsh Hajjo and Hawsh Ja’far in the northern countryside of Homs province, according to SANA reporter .

Later, SANA correspondent in Homs said that army units carried out operations on sites for Ahrar al-Cham terrorists in Ezzeddin village, destroying 2 SUV cars and killing at least 4 terrorists, including group leader Hussein Abdelqader Zoghaib, Osama al-Rahil, Omar Sharbek, and Zakaraya and Akkari.

Sweida

An army unit destroyed six vehicles of ISIL terrorists in the area of Be’r (well) al-Tanmia in the eastern countryside of Sweida Province.

Daraa

An army unit destroyed fortified positions and vehicles of al-Nusra terrorist organization and killed a number of its members after targeting their gatherings in al-Kark neighborhood and al-Nazihin Camp and its surroundings in Daraa province.

An army unit killed al-Nusra terrorists in al-Nazihin Camp and in al-Kark neighborhood and destroyed their machineguns to the west of the Camp, south of Jordan Street and west of Bilal al-Habashi Mosque.

The source added that the army bombardment against an armed terrorist group position to the north of Mekas al-Hajar in al-Yadoudeh town, about 5 km to the west of Daraa city resulted in killing and injuring all members of the group.

Deir Ezzor

Army units, backed by the army air force, on Tuesday destroyed fortifications and dens of the ISIL terrorists in the surroundings of Deir Ezzor City.

The army air force carried out a sortie against gatherings of the ISIL terrorists in al-Tharda Mountain, killing scores of them and destroying their fortifications.

A number of terrorists were killed, in addition to destroying an amount of arms and ammunition that was in their possession in precise bombardments on their axes of infiltration in the area of the eastern barricade of Deir Ezzor Airport.

Lattakia

Army units killed more than 15 al-Nusra terrorists in the northern countryside of Lattakia.

The  army units carried out accurate bombardments on fortifications of the terrorists in the surrounding of Fulla and al-Shammas farms, where a command center of the terrorists was destroyed and fifteen of them were killed.
