"Two people have died in the explosion, 16 people are injured," Demirtas
said in a statement.
A woman is believed to have carried out an explosion at a parking lot
near the governor building in southern Turkey's Adana province, Governor
Mahmut Demirtas said Thursday.
"A car was blown up this morning at the entrance to the
administration building. A woman is suspected of committing the
terrorist act," Demirtas said as quoted by Turkey's NTV broadcaster.
Video footage depicted a vehicle parked outside the office engulfed in
flames. It is unclear whether the attack was a suicide bombing.
