TEHRAN(Basirat): Iranian President Hassan Rouhani officially welcomed Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the Iranian capital on Wednesday.

Erdogan heading a high-profile delegation arrived in Tehran today to hold talks with Iranian officials.
Rouhani
and Erdogan are scheduled to hold a meeting on developing bilateral
relations and on the most important regional and international issues.
The Turkish President is also expected to hold talks with Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
Erdogan
is accompanied by his Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu,
Minister of Economic Affairs Nihat Zeybekci, Minister of Energy and
Natural Resources Berat Albayrak, Minister of Customs and Trade Bülent
Tüfenkci, Minster of the Interior Süleyman Soylu, Minister of Culture
and Tourism Numan Kurtulmuş, and Foreign Affairs Deputy Chairman of
Justice and Development Party Mehmet Mehdi Eker on the official trip.
During
President Erdogan's visit, Iran-Turkey Supreme Council of Strategic
Cooperation will hold its fourth meeting and several documents will be
signed for bilateral cooperation.
Prior to his trip to Iran, Erdoğan had said he would discuss with the Iranian officials the current situation in northern Iraq.
