Ayatollah Khamenei also reaffirmed the necessity of participation of all eligible voters in the elections; "as said before, everyone should participate in elections. Anyone who loves his or her country should take part in the elections.”
"I also encourage everyone to be quick in voting. This quickness is not hasty rush; this is quickness in doing the virtue. People should not leave it for late hours; first, it is better to be done as soon as possible; second, human being is not aware of their future and any happenings might prevent oen from voting later,” Leader addressed the nation.
"Third, people should vote for the sake of God. Consider the belief in national pride, independence and dignity. We have enemies and participation can disappoint them. People be aware and vote insightfully. Along with short term and long term benefits in this life, it will have blessings in other life as well,” concluded Ayatollah Khamenei.
