TEHRAN(Basirat): The strategic policy adopted by Iran is contributing to the establishment of peace in the world and particularly in the Middle East, senior Iranian lawmaker said during a meeting with Vietnamese officials in Hanoi.

'Without Iran's contribution in Syria and Iraq, the two countries today
were dominated by terrorists and extremists,' Alaeddin Boroujerdi said
in a meeting Monday evening with General Võ Trọng Việt, Chairman of the
Council on National Defense and Security in Vietnam's Parliament.
Boroujerdi,
chairman of Majlis (Parliament) National Security and Foreign Policy
