The Saudi-led coalition battling Yemen's government claims it has
intercepted a ballistic missile near Riyadh, Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya TV says.
Footage posted on social media shows a plume of smoke in the air after the
projectile was apparently intercepted by the military.
The Houthi movement's al-Masirah TV reported that its fighters had fired a
Burkan-2 missile at the Yamama Palace.
Reuters reporters also heard a blast in Riyadh on Tuesday and saw a plume of
smoke rising above the Saudi capital.
The plume of smoke appeared to be rising from the northeast of the capital.
