Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Seyed Abbas Araqchi and EU's Deputy Foreign Policy Chief Helga Maria Schmid co-chaired the third meeting of the JCPOA Joint Commission in the Austrian capital of Vienna on Friday,(Tasnim) reported.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to resolve problems remaining after the start of the implementation of the agreement on January 16.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the Iranian delegation may also hold bilateral talks with a number of officials from the Group 5+1.
The last session of the commission was held on December 7, 2015, in Vienna.
While the JCPOA came into force in January, some Iranian officials have complained about the US failure to fully implement the accord.
Last month, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said Americans have yet to fulfill what they were supposed to do as per the nuclear deal.
Iran still has problems in its banking transactions or in restoring its frozen assets, because Western countries and those involved in such processes are afraid of Americans, Imam Khamenei said, criticizing the US for its moves to prevent Iran from taking advantage of the sanctions removal.
