Jannati next chair of Iran's Assembly of Experts
TEHRAN, (Basirat) – Ahmad Jannati was appointed as the chairman of 5th Assembly of Experts which began to work on Tuesday.
At the opening session of the 5th Assembly of Experts held on Tuesday morning in Tehran, Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati was elected as the chairman of the 5th Assembly of Experts on Tuesday,(MNA) reported.
Accordingly, Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati received 51 votes out of 86, Ayatollah Ebrahim Amini and Ayatollah Seyed Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi also got 21 and 13 votes, respectively.
The openning session was attended by newly elected members and senior civil and military officials.
