Nasrallah, Bassil Hold Talk on Government, Corruption
TEHRAN(Basirat):June 3, 2018 Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah held a lengthy meeting on Friday night with the head of the Free Patriotic Movement, Minister Gebran Bassil, in the presence of Hezbollah’s liaison and coordination unit head, Haj Wafiq Safa.
The meeting tackled both domestic and international affairs, and evaluated the
recent parliamentary elections and their results, as well as the Syrian refugees
issue and corruption.
It was agreed on a joint preliminary scenario on fighting corruption and how to
later adopt a joint mechanism. Cabinet formation was also discussed with a
stress on the importance of accelerating it in conformity with the results of
the recent elections.
