"Today, our enemies are well aware that any military threat against the Islamic
Republic of Iran would get the harshest response,” head of the IRGC public
relations department, General Ramezan Sharif said in meeting at Iran’s
southeastern city of Zahedan on Wednesday.
Pointing to the US failure to carry out its plots against Syria and Yemen and
the fall of Daesh (ISIL) terrorist group after five years, the general said Iran
has turned all of those threats into opportunities.
Elsewhere, he said that despite every attempt made by the global arrogance to
save Israel, the Zionist regime is doomed to elimination, denouncing the Israeli
prime minister’s efforts to make contacts with the Iranian people by using any
irrelevant issue as an excuse.
Benyamin Netanyahu’s "childish stories raising baseless and bogus points”
signify Israel’s weakness, Sharif went on to say.
In comments on July 24, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General
Mohammad Hossein Baqeri cautioned the US against any hostile action against
Iran, saying the US president’s move to carry out his threats would draw Iran’s
harsh and unimaginable response and jeopardize American interests.
