Destruction Left by Terrorists on Face of Syrian Town of Hajar Al-Aswad

TEHRAN (Basirat): The Syrian town of al-Hajar al-Aswad is experiencing its calmest days after the Syrian forces announced in May that the last terrorist stronghold in southern Damascus has been recaptured, after seven years of battling terrorism.

The military success marks the control over Damascus and its suburb areas after seven years of fighting.
The al-Hajar al-Aswad District is seven kilometers to downtown Damascus. The government troops on April 19 began their military operation to take back the district, along with the adjacent Yarmouk Palestinian refugee camp which were occupied by terrorists.
Now what is left of the city is a heart-rending quietness and demolished buildings that used to be children’s playground back in its brightest days.
The photos from the Damascus Now news website better describe the wounds of once-flourishing-town of al-Hajar al-Aswad that was hit by plague of terrorism.
