'We won’t let a number of anti-Iranian individuals at the White House today make
plots against us,” President Rouhani said while addressing the Iranian lawmakers
at the Parliament (Majlis) on Tuesday.
The President attended Majlis morning session to answer a number of questions
raised by the Iranian lawmakers about current economic situation.
'We are not afraid of US, we are not afraid of problems, we will properly pass
through problems,' he added. Stressing that the US "will not be happy with the
end of today’s Majlis session.”
"The White House should know that it would be severely upset at the end of
today,” President Rouhani said.
The President is in Majlis to answer the Iranian lawmakers questions about his
government's failure to control goods and currency smuggling, continuation of
banking sanctions, unemployment rate, economic depression, increase in Forex
rate and degradation of local currency.
He is accompanied by Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, Minister of
Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad Shariatmadari, Intelligence Minister Mahmoud
Alavi, Vice-President for Scientific and Technological Affairs Sorena Sattari,
Minister of Agriculture Jihad Mahmoud Hojjati and Minister of Interior Abdolreza
Rahmani Fazli and Head of Plan and Budget Organization Mohammad-Bagher Nobakht.
