Iran ready to export medicine, medical equipment to Venezuela
Tehran (Basirat) : The head of Food and Drug Administration of the Islamic Republic of Iran (FDA), Mehdi Pirsalehi announced that Iran is ready to export medicine and medical equipment to Venezuela.
He made the remarks in Saturday meeting with visiting Venezuelan delegation
headed by the country’s deputy Foreign Minister for Asia, Middle East and
Oceania, Ruben Dario Molina, along with Venezuela’s ambassador to Tehran.
The meeting was held in line with an agreed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
which had been signed between Iran and Venezuela early last year to export
medicine and medical equipment from Tehran to Caracas.
During the meeting, Dr. Pirsalehi expressed Iran’s readiness to export medicine,
medical equipment and transferring knowledge and technology to Venezuela within
the framework of the previously agreed MoU.
