TEHRAN(Basirat) – Ayatollah Khamenei has said that united voices in support of oppressed people of Palestine would be heard on Quds Day with grace of God.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution received on Wednesday evening Judiciary
Head Ayatollah Amoli Larijani and high-ranking officials of the
Judiciary on the occasion of anniversary of martyrdom of former
Judiciary Head Ayatollah Beheshti who was assassinated in a terror blast
along with 72 other politicians in 1981.
Hailing Ayatollah Amoli Larijani as a significant scholar, the Leader
highlighted the role of Judiciary branch of power in supervising
implementation of laws and prevention of crimes. "Sensitivity of the
Judiciary has made it a target for attacks and propaganda against it.
Propaganda of foreign media and attacks on Judiciary are increased in
current term which is due to Revolutionary, blatant and value-based
positions of head and officials of the power branch,” emphasized he.
Ayatollah Khamenei urged the judicial power branch to be more active in
pursuing legal issues in global scale. "Pursuing violated rights of
Iranian nation because of sanctions must be on your agenda,” he said and
pointed to US court verdict to encroach Iranian assets over baseless
excuses. "Violation of rights of Iranian nation through imposing
sanctions is a reality which must be pursued legally on global scale.”
‘Pursuing rights of thousands of terror victims in Iran,’ ‘filing
lawsuits against states who overtly and covertly support assassins of
these victims’ and ‘legal defense for oppressed Muslim figures all
around the world’ were among other key points Leader urged Judiciary to
follow up on its agenda.
He also called on the officials to revive Islamic human rights on global
scale; "the human rights West talks about is based on false foundations
and it is necessary to introduce to world public opinion and global
judicial circles, and pursue the Islamic human rights which is based on
firm and rational foundations.”
"That it is officially announced that the United Nations has turned
blind eye on ongoing crimes and killing of children in Yemen by some
certain countries in return for money is a shame and disgrace for
humanity. This scandal is violation of true human rights and must be
worked on legally and judicially on global scale.”
Pointing to upcoming Friday as International Quds Day, Ayatollah
Khamenei dubbed it a religious duty to defend the oppressed everywhere
in the world and expressed hope that massive demonstrations will be held
across Iran and the whole world of Islam in support of people in
Palestine.
