Syria: Ahrar Al-Sham Commander Killed

TEHRAN (BASIRAT)- The Ahrar al-Sham Emir and Shura Council member was killed by unidentified gunmen in the Syrian Province of Homs.

Abu Rateb Al-Homsi, a member of Ahrar al-Sham Shura Council and Homs Emir was killed in Syria on Tuesday.
Reports said unidentified gunmen opened fire on a car carrying Abu Rateb al-Homsi, the "Emir" of the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham and his wife in the Western Al-Farhaniyah village near the town of Talbiseh in Homs, killing him and injuring his wife.
The Syrian Army's recent victories across the country have intensified internal differences among the ranks of the militant groups, specially among the Ahrar al-Sham' leaders that have lost three senior commanders as a result of infightings in recent weeks, intelligence sources said Sunday.

"Mohammad Abu Yihiya, one of the leaders of Ahrar al-Sham, and Abu Tamim another commander of the terrorist group in Jarjanaz town in Idlib province have been killed as a result of infightings," the sources said.
Meantime, Takfiri terrorists previously acknowledged that the military commander of Ahrar al-Sham Abdul-Qader al-Dabaan was killed.
Reports said on Thursday that heavy battles erupted between Takfiri terrorists from Jeish al-Islam and Jeish Tahrir al-Sham groups in Damascus province as militants continue to lose ground in Syria.
Terrorists from Jeish al-Islam engaged in fierce clashes with Jeish Tahrir al-Sham terrorists in al-Damir city in Damascus countryside, informed sources said.(FNA) reported.
