TEHRAN(Basirat): Iranian foreign minister on Monday urged dialogue and trust building among the Persian Gulf's littoral states.
The Persian Gulf should be a region for cooperation, peace and stability, Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Monday.
He called for dialogue, cooperation and trust building among the Persian Gulf states to elevate peace in the region.
Zarif
described the Persian Gulf as 'symbol of our region's culture and
history' and noted that it is for years that the region is the vital
artery of global trade and energy.
The Iranian foreign minister
said that establishment of a regional dialogue assembly is a practical
step towards peace in the region.
